Titan Entertainment Cafe RTT Tournament

General Chaos here posting up the missions for the next Tournament at Titan Entertainment Cafe in Battle Creek. The tournament is Saturday, May 5th we are starting sign up at 11 AM and rolling dice at Noon. Hope to see you all there again!

Adepticon Battleforce Box Winner!

Old School here to announce the winner of our Adepticon Battle Force Giveaway. I just want to start by saying that we ended up with 326 total entries into the contest from Thursday night to the wee hours of Monday after the poker tournament. We had tons of fun, met a lot of hilarious people, hung out with friends new and old and drank like the viking gods of old!

Adepticon 2012: My Personal Favorite Army from the 40k GT!

Old School here and I know we just covered a ton of 40k GT stuff, but I wanted to take the time to show off one army on its own. I am a big Chaos fanboy and this is easily my personal favorite army out of the whole group today. Angry Richard, the creator was really humble, but his work is amazing, between the conversions, the theme and the paint. Let's pay homage to an awesome Dark Mechanicus themed Daemon army:

The Test Of Khaine Tournament: Missions

Well its that time again. To celebrate Craftworld Lansing's 2^nd birthday I bring you the 2^nd Test Of Khaine Tournament on April 14^th at Evolution Games. This is an 1850 pt tournament. Painted armies are encouraged but not required. Standard force org is being used with no Forge World rules allowed. Models are if they are being used instead of standard GW models. So I present to you the missions sans the fluff so you can prepare your army. Primary Objectives are worth 30 battle points, secondary Objectives are worth 15 points and Tertiary Objectives are worth 10 points. Games are 5 turns with standard random game length rules in effect.

Observation of the New GW Paints

I just picked up some new paints from Lansing's newest most promising local game store, AFK Games, an I noticed something new on some of the pots.

That's a wierd little hinge remake that as soon as I saw it I was instantly happy.

Necron HQ: Command Barge

The Necron codex has been out for a while and I feel like one of two things, if not both, are happening; First, people hate grey knights SO MUCH that they didn't notice the Necron codex.  Second, people that know the necron codex are sitting around saying, "Yeah, those Grey Knights....boy are they broken.  I play these Necrons, you know, just for fun."

I'm going to break the internet silence on the Necrons.  They're an awesome codex.  

Video Battle Report: Necrons vs. Tau

General Chaos here with another Video Battle Report. I got a game in at Titan Entertainment Cafe this week. I played "Irish" Mike's Tau against my Necrons. We played 1500 points and we used one of the Battle Missions called Counter-Attack. It was a total shooting gallery and I let Mike use some Imperial Armour units. The Hammerhead armed with Long Barrel Burst cannons was punishing my Necron warriors. Lucky they can take a licking and keep on ticking. Hope you enjoy the video and thanks for watching

The Swarmlord Cometh! My take on the new Kit!

Old School here and realizing it has been a while since I posted anything for Hive Fleet Behemoth, I want to take the opportunity to post up the Swarmlord I started today based on the new plastic kit.
