Secret Weapon Miniatures Releases New Bio Sword (great news for Nids)!

Old School here to help get the word out about Secret Weapon Miniature's latest release - the bio sword. These swords come in both monstrous creature size (large) and infantry size (small). They really have a great feel and look like they would fit well with any of the tyranid models that can take boneswords. Here is what Mr. Justin had to say:
"The new Bio Sword conversion bits are live, in stock and shipping immediately!
The swords come in two sizes and each has a distinct left and right hand sculpt. The sculpts feature distinct fingers, teeth, a bone spike and gaps between the fingers and the organic blade."

Sound pretty cool. From the store's description, these bits are metal. That may be a problem for some, but as somebody who has handled the resin Paulson Swords (which look great but can break pretty easily) and the resin Mrs Velard swords (kind of ugly, but really durable), I can tell you this might be the best way to get the look and durability you may be looking for without convering them from plastic yourself. For pricing or more information OR to purchase some of these for yourself, check out Secret Weapon minis. In the meantime, the DFG crew would love to hear what you think about these new swords!

  1. hmmm i must say im not really a fan of these...
dont get me wrong, well made sculpts in there own right, but possibly a lil too cartoony?
or maybe a bit too bulky?
a more refined version, similar to the current hive tyrants sword would of been better imo.
