Pre-Depticon Tournament Saturday: Scenarios and Schedule!

Old School here with an update about the Pre-Depticon Tournament being held this weekend at Game Links in Fowlerville, MI Saturday, March 24. Let's talk missions and the schedule of events.

First off, the missions will be pulled straight from last year's Adepticon Scenarios found at this link. We will use three of the four missions, so be ready for them. They will be played exactly to the missions listed there. Also, because this is a Pre-Depticon Tourney, we will use the Inat FAQ v5.1 found here for our rulings.

Aside from the hard scores, understand that sportsmanship will also factor into the final score and your army will be judged on what percent of it is painted (75% or more for a perfect score).

Finally, please remember that we will have GW prize support, the door and a discount for winners of 1st, 2nd and 3rd place overall. Additionally, we will give away door prizes, award a Best Painted Single Model and Award the Player's Choice Award - so there will be no shortage of winning opportunities in addition to the competition!

The schedule of events will go as follows:

10:30 printed lists are due
11:00 First Pairings announced, Set up for first round
11:15 First Round Begins
1:15 First Round Ends
1:15 - Participants will leave armies out for judges to inspect for paint score and to judge the Best Painted Single Model. This is also a good time for players to figure out who their Player's Choice vote will be. This is also Lunch Break!
2:00 Round Two pairings and set-up
2:15 Round Two begins
4:15 Round Two Ends - Votes for Players Choice Due
4:30 Round Three Pairings and set-up
6:30 Round Three ends
6:45 Awards Ceremony and Prizes!

We are looking forward to a great turn-out and an awesome tournament. We recommend that players pre-register at DarkFutureGames@gmail.com. For more information, please check out the original announcement at this link. You will find more information on paint scoring and rules for participants (like list submission) there. We look forward to seeing you there!

  2. That is great man, we really want people to remember that this isn't just a good way to prep for the con, it is also a great way for people to try out a new format and test their army locally without all the travel (though Adepticon is the greatest time ever!)
