The Red Wake Perfect for World Eaters! Where did he get those wonderful toys!

If ever in the history of lightning claws, there was room for more ridiculousness, the folks at Forge World found the final frontier! Tyberos is called the Red Wake and he is described by Forge World as ...

Tyberos was presumed to be the commander of the Carcharodons Chapter during their unlooked-for and savage intervention in the Badab War, leading his Terminator-armoured brethren in bloody assault after bloody assault from the notorious battle barge Nicor. Tyberos gained a dark fame for his brutal combat prowess and the two unique power weapons with which he carved a path of mangled and shredded corpses through the Secessionist forces. Known as ‘Hunger’ and ‘Slake’ these ancient relic-gauntlets, which combine barbed power blades with an inner maw lined with vicious teeth, are of a pattern and manufacture unknown to the Adepts of Mars
Heretical claws you say? Pre-Heresy style armor you say? Skulls? I think I have found a perfect model to convert and add to my growing host of World Eaters! This guy has it all, just a head swap, some gorification and I think I will have the most savage looking Lightning Claw Berzerk Termie ever!

What are your thoughts on this model, his over-the-top claws and his background? Is this a Forge World Home-run, base hit or a swing-and-a-miss?

  1. With his vicious handshake he would decimate any traitor thinking of surrender.

I like the look of the model except for those palms.

  3. He has a killer handshake and plays the hand he is dealt. He has a Hell of a grip and knows a bird in the hand is worth two ... pints of blood. Other chapters typically ask him to lend a hand, but he never replies to their text messages ... he'd get a shopper, but he just has the buzzsaw hands. Well, I think I killed it. I think I bombed those jokes so bad, you could call them pun-ishment ...
