Artist of the Week! Tim's Centurions from Adepticon!

The Artist of the Week this week is from Adepticon, his name is Tim and his army is full of amazing conversions that stopped every person who walked by. His Centurion themed Space Wolf list was my personal favorite from Adepticon and is a reminder of what I love about our Hobby. Tim, you inspired me to have a beautiful army for next year! Maybe I can buy you a beer! And if you are out there, please tell us all about the conversions. The readers are all ears!

  2. Tim's Army was more than just cool, the pics, as good as they are, do not begin to describe that paint job and conversion job. I wish Old School had gotten a better picture of the termies with their lightning claws and power weapons due to how amazing I thought they looked.

  3. I have to concure with lord solar, while the pics look good, they don't even compare to what they really looked like. Amazing.

  5. Hey man.....your stuff looks fantastic. What is the name of your blog? I would love to see more of your stuff. I do have a questions. Are the helmet crests scratch built or do they come from somewhere? Thanks.

  6. heh, guess it would have been smart to link my Blog too... timsminis.blogspot.com

Thanks for the compliment, jugger :) The helmet crests are a conversion on an existing product. Maxmini puts out a set of 10 resin heads called "Tribe of the Black Lotus" Think sinister-style Spartans. I chopped the huge crests from those heads, and shaped them to size and shape with hobby knife and file, then pinned them into the heads from the company champion and the crusader helmets from the BT boxes :)

  7. Once again let me say how impressed I was by your stuff Tim, and then on top of that to have -you- ask me how I did the mud on my vehicle's and bases made me super proud. I cant wait to see your army next year and if you are ever up in michigan the guys at Evolution would be more than happy to see your stuff there.
