Old School here with the Artist of the Week. Since I am knee deep in converting 2 Tervigons and 2 Harpies, I figured it would be a good idea to show you where the inspiration is coming from. I owe all the great inspiration to an amazing artist called Hydra from the Warp Shadow tyranid forum. His Lictors are simply works of art and reflect not only his graphic mental image of their ferocity, but also his artist ability to render what exists in the realm of nightmares into reality!
The tervigo in the photo above is the inspiration for the one I am creating right now and there is a photo tutorial in his gallery called brood 6, you will find it if you follow the link I am going to provide at the end of this article.
His Harpie is also an inspirational peice to me and I am trying to figure out just how I will reproduce this amazing model!
