Here are the missions for the tournament coming up on Octorber 13th at Evolution Games in Lansing MI.

Saturday October 13th at Evolution Games in Lansing Mi, DFG will host an 1850 standard rules (no IA) 40k tournament. The new chaos will be allowed!Prizes to top three, door prize and best painted squad (5 models minimum).

Mission 1
The Battlefield
Dawn of War
Players roll off to determine
deployment zones and then place fortifications. Players then places
5 Primary Objectives on the battlefield; one objective (the
Center Objective) in the direct center of the board, two objective
(the Flanking Objective), one each on either side of the Center
Objective, 18” away, along the center line of the board. Each
player then place one objective (the Deployment Objective) anywhere
in their own deployment zone following the normal rules for
placement of objectives. (Pg 121)
Deployment
Before deploying their forces, players
first roll for their Warlord Traits. Players then roll off to
determine who deploys their army first.
First Turn
The player that deployed their army
first goes first unless their opponent can Seize the Initiative (pg
122).
Game length
The mission uses Variable Game Length.
Victory Condition
At the end of the game the player who
has scored the most Battle Points wins the game. If players have
the same number of Battle Points the game is a draw. The player with
the most Victory points in an Objective wins the Objective, If
players have the same number of Victory Points the Objective is a
draw.
Primary Objective (15/10/0):
At the end of the game, the player
that controls the Center Objective scores 3 Victory Points, 2
Victory Points for each Flanking Objective controlled and 1 Victory
Point for each Deployment Objective controlled.
Secondary Objective (10/5/0):
At the end of the game, each player
scores 1 Victory Point for each enemy fast attack unit and 1 Victory
Point for each enemy heavy support unit completely destroyed.
Units that are falling back at the end of the game and units that
are not on the board at the end of the game count as destroyed for
the purposes of this mission. Remember that Independent Characters
and Dedicated Transports are individual units and award Victory
Points if they are destroyed.
Bonus Objectives (1 Battle Point
each):
Slay the Warlord, First Blood, Line
breaker
Mission Special Rules
Night Fighting, Mysterious
Objectives, Reserves
Fast and the Furious:In this
mission your fast attack and heavy support units are scoring in
addition to all other units considered scoring under normal rules.
This includes vehicles, provided they are fast attack or heavy
support, not immobilized and are not fliers.
Mission 2

Players roll off to determine
deployment zones and then place fortifications. This mission
requires no objective markers.

Vanguard Strike
Players roll off to determine who
places the first objective marker. Each Player alternates placing
3 Primary Objectives each (for a total of 6) on the battlefield
following the normal rules for placing objectives. (Pg 121).
Players then roll off to determine deployment zones and then place
fortifications.
