BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD! CONVERSIONS FOR THE ... SPRUE GOD! I just want to share a quick preview of a Khorne Daemon Prince I converted up and will have painted soon.
This conversion is based on the Ogroid Thurmaturge model from the Disciples of Tzeentch AOS army. The wings come from the Varghiest/ Crypt Horror kit, which is so fantastic for conversions. The axe and belt buckle are from the Bloothirster, his ponytail and Khorne tabbard (not visible) are from the Bloodsecrator AOS kit and the shoulder pads are from the Helbrute.
The basing is the Ophidian Gate terrain and some Miliput.
I have had my eye on converting a DP with the Skullreaver Axe for my 40k army (chop up some knights) and love the idea of this creepy guy to also be in my AOS Blades of Khorne army.
Let me know what you think guys and stand by because more Khorne is coming from my hobby bench over the next few days.
Dude. I need to slap some of those wings on the Khorgorath I've got lying around from the first AoS core box. I've been trying to figure out some way to make him useful, and that should totally do the trick.
