Photos of the New Daemon Models!

Old School here with some photos I beleive to be the new Daemons models. The new wave appears to be the much anticipated Daemon Prince, FateWeaver, Changeling, Seekers, plastic horrors, ans a new variant of the bloodcrusher. The photos are below and can also be found here.

Pretty crazy, but being that they appear on a GW site is pretty much gospel that these are it! What are your thoughts on these models?

  1. The plastic horrors and seekers invoke the essence of Chaos. The Changeling seems to be lacking to me as does the fate weaver. The plastic daemon is okbut in the end its a model that I will never buy. I would rather convert my own Daemon Prince as doing so adds so much more flavor to your army.

  3. Frankly I'm okay with the Tzeentch models. Understatement is acceptable on Tzeentchian models because their powers have little or nothing to do with their bodies. I expect Tzeentchian models to look deceptively fragile and weak.

  4. Its hard to play chaos for me because I don't hate myself and feel the need to self punish but they sure do have some really pretty models. I hate to say these all leave a lot to the imagination when it comes to painting.
I'm sad to see bloodcrushers coming in plastic which means I'll be more likely to see those little special ed kids with their 15 blood crushers lolz'ing as they smoother my clubs 40k tables in cheese.

  5. They are quite nice. Plastic Blood Crushers might motivate me to make a World Eaters Space Wolf army.

  6. I doubt the new bloodcrusher is plastic considering the others are fairly new and metal. More likely it is just another version so they don't all look the same ... although the thought of making a World Eaters Space Wolf army did just make me pee a little!

  8. On second thought, let me provide some evidence this time around.

Confirmations of Bloodcrusher(s) being plastic found here:

There are others but I'd have to look. So, yea, consider yourself soaked. ;)

  11. I just kind of skimmed the forum but was there a link to a picture I missed? fattdex on page 8 says "I didn't realised I glossed over what must be a plastic Bloodcrusher!" and everyone just goes with the idea that they're plastic. I have very little faith is some yahoo on a forum saying someone told them or I saw it IRL or in this case to seemingly make it up to convince me they're plastic. Not that I really care to say you're incorrect but I just wanted to see a picture of the spru; pictures are harder to fabricate than words.

  13. Save it to mop up the tears when they're still metal.

  15. if they made the daemon prince model plastic i don't see why the blood crusher wouldn't be plastic as well

  16. I think we'll all need a mop, in either case.
