Tervigon WIP sneak peek: Two Bad Mothers!

Old School here with a sneek peek at the two Tervigons I have been working on for my hive fleet. I used a Trygon torso, carnifex legs, carni head, a mix of scything talons, a set of rending claws for the "creepy little hands", some tin-foil and a butt-load of green stuff.
.
More picture will come ladies and gents, but for now, I am not finished and just wanted to give you a taste - by the way, I am also building two harpies from the remains of the trygon and carnifex kits! Feedback is VERY welcome, let me know what you think of these bad boys!

  1. Sorry, but those are ladies you are talking about - mothers even! HAHAHA ... What's realy bad is I am about to add ooze coming out the end as if they had just given birth. That would make the whole thing even funnier.

  2. Looks good. Only 1 fluff based note. All Nids have 6 limbs according to the fluff. I guess the question is now that people have converted up these bad girls when GW releases their cool new kit in a year does everyone go and buy more as GW hopes essentially moving double the volume on the same unit.

  3. They make cream that can help relieve those hemorrhoids.

  4. While I thought about paying creedance to the "tyranids only have 6 limbs" idea, I started to look at the heavy weapons sprues where they actully have two arms in one and then I thought about real bugs and how they have moth appendages that are in truth a small set of limbs and then how spiders spinerets are like a small pair of hands and then I came up with what I produced.
The real question I asked myself was whether or not it made the model look cooler and it did, so I went with it.
As far as GW releasing models for them, it would have been nice, but I plan to play this army for a little while, have my fun and then sell it off, so its really not a big deal to me.
CVinton, sorry I used all the cream for my own hemorrhoids. Speaking of uncomfortable booty ailments, how goes Team Edward?

  5. Still waiting for the marines to sell....and for April 3rd to come around. I looked at the BA codex (Yes, I broke down) and its pretty sweet. I'm really happen to be able to have so many assault marines in an army, I've always loved them and now get to paint them red and FNP with them. Its back to the glory days when people were like "Oh, you play marines? Blood angels right?"
