Old School here. I just wanted to throw down some progress pics of the Brass Scorpion I've been painting to help me practice the Khorne color pallette before I start the Forge World Khorne Berserkers. I am pretty pleased with it so far. In the initial stages of painting I must have said I hated it about 50,000,000,000 times, but as I got it dirtied up, layered, washed and touched-up, I started to like the way it looked. Now I am adding some setails (like the soot from the flamers and oily smudgy ball joints and some various shades of blood on the claws and blades. I will say that red does not photography well and it loses a lot of the detail work I have put in, but such is life. Soon it will be done and then I can continue the World Eaters Project!
Wow, that's very nicely done! Can't wait to see it finished though.
