More possible alternate Grey Knights from Hi-Tech Miniatures

Hi Tech Studios has gone from nearly non-existant on the radar to a beacon in a matter of a few week and their Demon Slayers line is really the drive behind the sudden interest. Let's face it, there are a lot of companies out the who "don't" make models for GW systems and these are certainly "not" Grey Knight alternatives, but looking at the Iron Chancellor above, I think it is safe to say that this guy is begging to be in your Grey Knights army anywhere you would have him. This model would make a great Grand Master or even a really awesome Paladin - at least if cutting off giant daemon heads is any measure of might. If this model strikes you, then take a look at a few of their other models that might fit the bill for some unique Grey Knight models ...

This Sci-Fi Commander is one of the first models I have in mind when I think of a Draigo Model from outside the GW range. The shield bearers below may seem out of place because the Greys don't take storm shields, but they could make great personal wound markers for your characters, Paladins or models in your other Space Marine Armies.

Let's not forget the Dreadknight stand in we looked at last week ... sadly, I will not be picking these up as my brand of power armor comes in Spikes and Arrows, but hopefully, this post has stirred some ideas and maybe somebody will throw one of these models our way for commission work!

Hi-Tech's site can be found here. We would love to hear what you think of these.

  1. I have been watching their site for some time. They have some killer things on there. I just wish they would expand their demons land bases past the 5 40mm's that they have now. Seeing the new model you show cased, I can see it being a good base for just about any of the character types in the book.

  2. I really like the idea of using the shield bearer as a way of having a removable storm shield for a Terminator Libby as depending which Codex I am using he does not always have one.
