Inquisitor Revieled!

So, here is the Inquisitor for my guard army. I'm putting together a stronger tournament army and of course needed the Inquisitor/Mystic unit. I'm glad to have him a put a lot of effort into him because it'd been a while since I've had a nice unique center piece for my army. Enjoy the little eye candy from DFG. Next from me I'll be talking about having your army theme and how to incorporate all your models into it.

  1. VERY Nice... my absolute favorite part of the model is the lasgun with the guard helmet on the barrel. You've got a nice bit of framing with the base and the hints of red all around the model draw your eye nicely across the fig. Then you've got the lasgun/helmet "discovery" part of the model. One of the bits Chris Borer taught in his seminar in Chicago this year was having those elements of discovery in a piece. Well done, man. VERY nice :)

  2. I like the yellow edging on the cloak. I don't have an eye for those little freehand additions. It looks great.

  3. I really love that model, and you definitely did it justice. Great basing and paint-job.

  4. I love the inquisitor CV, I almost thought I was approaching your skill level ... and then you brought this to the shop and blew me away with the freehand work.

A funny side note is how angry he looks holding his book. It's almost like he's telling his girlfriend "I told you I wanted a Kindle for my B-Day! What the hell is this! It's way to big to fly with!"

  5. Nice Inquisitor! A new look to him for me, as compared to mine. Mine is more of the inquisition red style, check out at my site, with a titanium colour armour. Cheers!
