It is once again time for our Artist of the week! This time, we are looking at the work of genius conversionist and painter, Simon M.
.
From 28mm to 54mm, whether using simple conversions or full-on green stuff sculpting, Simon has it all. His use of colors reflect both the grit and realism of the dark future that is 40k.
.
If you like his work, you can view his gallery on CMON here: http://www.coolminiornot.com/browse/page/1/submitter/simon%20m./orderby/Descending
.
Or you can check out his blog at: http://simon-modrow.blogspot.com/
.
He even has some Eldar vs Dark Eldar dioramas and some historical peices for those of you less inclined toward our power-armoured friends. Enjoy!
Hi,
ReplyDeletethank you very much! I first didn´t notice so excuse me for the delayed reply.
If you want more detailed information concernig my painting, sculpting or anything else don´t hesitate to contact me.
So now just some general things.... I started playing warhammer and painting miniature about 8 years ago. For the last 4 years I´ve concentrated more and more on painting and about one year ago I made my first serious attempts into sculpting. Currently my favourite scale in both painting and sculpting is 54mm and I´m also more and more interrested in dealing with more historical,"realistic" stuff. Nevertheless the topic I`m most interrested in are knights... be it medieval or Space Marine.
Cheers, Si.
