Sammy here with another installment of Thirsty Thursday and this one is a double (see what I did there). This is the first in a two part series covering the original Space Marine Legions and the drinks that represent them and just in case you haven't been reading here long or haven't met us at Adepticon, we love to drink!
This one is all about shots, shooters, and bombs! I will do my best to keep the ingredients to what is available nationwide but that might not be possible in some instances. So lets dive in.
First up is the world eaters. This shot is sure to make anybody one of Angron's berserkers.
The World Eater:
1 part 100 proof cinnamon liqueur
1 part Tabasco sauce
Next up is the prettiest of the shots and sure to be one if the most treacherous.
Son of a Horus:
3 parts peach schnapps
1 part Irish cream liqueur
3 drops grenadine
By the end of the night after a few of these you will defiantly be telling people you are in fact Alpharious!
I am Alpharious:
1 part silver tequila
1 part 100 proof peppermint schnapps
After this warp tonic you will likely think you are a sorcerer too.
Eye of Magnus:
1 part absinthe
1 part club soda
One cherry
Death will be swift after a few of these shots.
Scythe of Mortarion:
1 part Jack Daniels
1 part corn whiskey (moonshine)
You will be the bearer of many words after about ten of these.
Lorgar's testament:
1 part Rootbeer schnapps
1 part Rootbeer soda
Test your metal with a couple of these bombs.
Iron warrior siege:
1 pint Steel Reserve beer
Drop in one shot of whiskey
A perfect way to to get drunk fast.
Fulgrim's elixir:
1 part vodka
1 part Islandpunch Pucker
Splash of sprite
Grenadine
Even you won't know what happened to you after just one.
The 2nd's excommunication:
1 part Everclear
So in closing guys have fun and drink responsibly. stay tuned for the second half of twenty shots for twenty legions, where we will look at Loyalist shots.

Ahh, the Scythe of Mortarion. Surely you will feel no pain after a few of those! This one has carved it's way into my heart.
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome! The Iron Warriors Seige stands out like a messed up dare! Seriously? Steel Reserve and Whisky! That is brutal, Sammy!
ReplyDeleteMy personal favorite for a less ridiculous shot would be "I am Alpharius" or the Scythe. Both are good, manly shots and should certaily lead to Heresy as the night unfolds!
