I don't know if it was intentional, but the muted colours of the plaguebearer make the sword stand out really well. It's a great effect, and the sword itself looks really good too, very nurgle.Did you just drybrush / wash him to get those colours?
Yes, he was drybrushed, then washed, then drybrushed again. The sword was painted tin bitz, then speckled with gun metal.
